My name is James Dorta, founder of Three DE. Driven by a lifelong passion for digital engineering, I began exploring this field at a young age and have since gained extensive experience working on multi-billion-dollar projects in the AEC industry in Australia. In 2024, I established Three DE to improve how we design and build through innovative and efficient solutions.

My journey spans various fields within digital engineering. I began with cost planning and VDC implementations as part of a joint venture for level-crossing removal projects in Victoria. I then moved on to surveying and construction for rail and road projects in New South Wales, followed by tunnel design for significant projects in Australia and the United States.

These diverse experiences shaped my vision for Three DE—a company focused on transforming how we approach digital tools in the AEC sector to achieve more effective, efficient outcomes.
